Hewlett-Packard laptop battery may bring security issues

Hewlett-Packard and battery manufacturers found that in December 2004 to June 2006 between the production of certain Hewlett-Packard laptop batteries pack attached to customers may bring security issues. Batteries may overheat, a fire or burn risk. To reduce battery failure may result in damage, HP strongly recommends all customers immediately stop using the affected battery packs.
